Hi Readers!
Left to Right: Rovender Kitt (Eva's friend), Eva, Muthr
You've probably heard of The Spiderwick Chronicles before. There are three kids: Mallory, Simon, and Jared, and they move into a creepy old house. They soon discover that monsters are all around them, and the series is all about them trying to stop the monsters and evil forces. (Warning: These books are a little scary) The Spiderwick Chronicles are by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black. These books are good, but I'm going to talk about a Tony DiTerlizzi book that is AWESOME!!!!! This book is called The Search for Wondla.
Here's a little bit about it:
A girl called Eva Nine lives in an underground sanctuary with her mother (a robot named Muthr). At the sanctuary, Eva practices surviving in the world... but really, she wants to go above ground for the first time in her life. She also wants to discover more humans like her. She doesn't just want to learn about the world, she wants to experience it. One day, an intruder disturbs life at the underground sanctuary. Eva needs to escape- now. And she isn't even prepared! Will Eva escape the intruder? Or find humans and friends along the way?
I love this bittersweet book!!! I just finished reading it and am going to start the sequel, A Hero for Wondla, very soon!

If you like Tony DiTerlizzi, check out this!
This is what Rick Riordan says about the WondLa series!!!!
"An irresistible adventure. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!"
Oh. My. Gosh.
I just finished this book. It's important to read the end in an environment where people will not stare at you while you cry (If, like me, you get leaky eyes). If you absolutely cannot find a place like that, have tissues on hand. No tissues? You could always use the pages, if you don't want to go back and wallow in the sadness. If (also like me) you have an e-reader (Kindle or Nook or something of that nature) your sleeve is always an option. If you don't have sleeves, hide under a table or desk or behind this. This book will definitely keep you saying "Oeeaah!"
Happy (or in this case tearful) Reading,
Hope ;)
P.S. Technically, this is not a spoiler.
